There was a lot happening on the sun last Wednesday despite the lack of aurora's at our latitude. I took avi's and DSLR images. The whole disk was taken with my Canon 450d and a 2X Barlow (lens only) fitted on the end of a 1.25" nosepiece. This was fed into my "double stacked" Coronado PST. I didn't have to re-tune the scope to get this image. Processing in Photoshop's Camera Raw module revealed the flares by turning up the Clarify slider.

Incidentally...this image was 1 second in duration with NO mosaics! It took about 1 minute to render!
