I was shocked to see the skies had cleared. In the evening it was solid and the clouds were orange in the area of the moon, then as i was going to bed and looked out it had cleared up, so went and clicked away for 25min before the clouds came racing back in :)

Still ticked that mu images are uneven, I even re-culminated the scope loosening the prime mirror screws to an even simi loose to see if they were wonky or something.

I find the day before the "Fullmoon" near midnight its more full then the end of the day official full Moon. Last time I got more of the flip side revealed making it look like it had passed a day already. Dont know if anybody else sees that.

Nice shots, I especially like the first big blue full moon. People say that the full moon isn't an interesting time to view it, but clearly lots of detail is seeable and its quite gorgeous to take in........ Rainy here with typhoon approaching, looks like itll be several days before a chance at a moon viewing. Thanks for the MOON. :cloudy:

It would be interesting to know the UT times of these photos, as there was a penumbral eclipse underway last night. No one has mentioned it!

In my area the penumbral eclipse was about the time of moon rise. Didn't even bother.
