Several years back my primary imaging software for my Canon XT was DSLRFocus. To my knowledge, it is no longer available to be purchased :bawling: and has been replaced by numerous excellent, multifunctional programs. However, I still have it on an old, old laptop and it works my camera fine. I wonder how many early DSLR imagers remember or still use it?? If I can find my "Key", I would like to put it on my newer laptop and give it a go one night.

Same here. I used to run my EOS 300D with DSLRFocus.

Does anyone have contact information on Chris Venter, the originator of DSLRFocus? Although I have a Registered version 3 on my old laptop, I would like to see if he could provide another Key so that I can add the program to my newer imaging computer.. I'm willing to $$ for another Key if necessary.... Oh well, it would be the try.

I was able to move mine to another XP machine by simply copying the complete folder that the executable file resides in.

No luck again, I tried copying the entire folder to a thumb drive. The Key did not copy over... #%$#!!. So, I guess I'll just upgrade to something like APT or Backyardeos. Thank you all for your comments.
