Here is my entry, took some 22 hours to gather all the photons (132x 10 min subs, ISO800), taken with my Peltier-cooled Canon 350Da (TEC@5°C), calibrated with 36 darkframes, 30 bias frames and 30 flats (for each session). Image was captured using Nebulosity 2.4.4, calibrated/stacked using DSS 3.3.2 post-processed using the DSLR-LRGB method in Photoshop CS3. Image was shot on September 28, 29, 30, and October 1, and 2 2013. Shot from SQM<20 skies.

Here's mine, don't think that I can collect more data on this. 12x12 min subs, Canon600Da at ISO400, hazy. Larger Version here: http://www.astrostam...e.php?pos=-1433

Looks like astrovirus is our winner by a slim margin! Please choose a target for December!

So here's my target for December. It's another tough one, which is rarely imaged. But as I'm very fond of these dark dusty nebula's, my choice is LBN 777 (Position: R.A. 04 hr 05 min , Dec +26 210 36'), also known as the baby eagle/little vulture nebula. I hope to get a shot at this one myself, but I am troubled by both the weather and an anoying streetlight I can't turn off anymore.

Good luck to everyone.

Tough choice! But great sportsmanship in addition to a wonderful image.
