Here I am with a new image to show you. This is the time of the dark nebula B170 in the constellation of Cepheus. As it is easily noted, it is a very dense region, rich of stars and dust clouds (after all we are looking toward on of the most crowded fields of the Summer Milky Way). The ionized hydrogen component, responsible for the red hue all around, is also very rich and for this reason I added to the initial LRGB composition some light frames with an H-alpha narrow band filtre.

That is beautful Nicola, thanks for posting! I really need to start keeping a journal of these lesser known areas for imaging in the future!

Wow, that's some dense star region, Nicola. Nice job of highlighting the dark lanes.

Very nice image of B170!
It is quite obvious why this area is sometimes called "Black Fish Nebula".

Zoran
