Spotted ISON in the only 10 minute window teh clouds would give me this morning. I got up at just teh right time. Crazy how that worked out today because the sky was just horrible.

Anyway, I found ISON within seconds of looking---unistakable tail visible directly this morning. With averted vision, the tail stretched out maybe 4 or 5 coma widths. The other thing I noticed was that overall it appeared less bright than yesterday, with the nucleus much less bright (though still star-like).

Instead of a little fuzzy ball, it looked like a little fuzzy smear!

Here's the full write up.

thanks for looking!
