Looking for sources for shielded lights and ways to measure light pollution other than estimating minimum visible magnitude. If there is an information source ATs' can go to for information and solutions other than getting militant and making enemies of the vast majority that don't care or understand the issue it would help. Positive steps such as education and alternatives to conventional outdoor lighting would be better than making enemies through legal action!

There is a post with links that no longer work.

This is probably the best single source for info you can find.

The arguments for curbing light pollution are so rational and so simple there' s no need to get all partisan and testy. For New England's generally positive experience, see the New England Light Pollution Advisory Group website at www.nelpag.org
