Last night I made a quick sketch of Mare Humorum and Gassendi crater. I used my old 75mm Polarex Unitron at a magnification of 92x. Mare Humorum showed some nice "rolling wave"-like structures, and because of the low altitude of the sun hore shoe shaped Letronne looked very pretty. I made the sketch between 21.00 UT and 21.30UT with a white pastel pencil on black paper. It's the original sketch made behind the eyepiece.

Roel, that's quite nice and realistic for a quick sketch. Heck, it's quite good for any form of sketch. Well done, I like it a lot. Beautiful.

Lovely sketch. I agree with Norme. A Unitron telescope! That is a classic that brings to mind a very different time...
Thanks!
