Larger Version

Constellation shot taken with T1i, 60 sec exposures using a 50mm EF @ F/4.5, ISO800. M42 shot is a reprocess of my old data from the Hyperstar and QHY-8. Was using some of this content in outreach events locally.

Josh that is beautiful, like the way you broke out that M42 for a showpiece! :)

Thanks. I'm anxious to get back out and expand on my original Orion project, hopefully next month. I've reacquired the same OTA/CCD that I used in the first run. Ready to resume that deep mosaic.

Thanks!

As always, I can make the raw data available to anyone who wants to tinker with it. I've got 30 hours integration time on the M42 stacks.
