We have posted our Christmas card and greeting, which has both terrestrial and night sky characteristics, on the blog post (address below our signature). You are welcome to view it if you wish. There is religious content.

It has been a good year of sketching for us. Even with health challenges, we were able to sketch together a dozen times and teach a few sketching lessons on NSN as well. Thanks to several of you that have influenced us with your own sketching and observing.

Roland,
Nice work on your Christmas card. I will show it to my wife and kids once they are up. Hope you and Linda have a Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the comments. I am sorry we got so tied up that I did not get on sooner to say that. The last 3 evenings we had a very very unusual event: all 3 clear cold nights. So we were on NSN each night and two of them we did sketches and one of them we did a sketch lesson. It takes about 3 hours from set up to break down, so evenings got completely but enjoyably waylaid. My wife went nuts because she was able (with me) to sketch the horsehead and the flame nebulas together (wide field with hyperstar and astro video) and then the running man neb (1977) tonight. What a great time. Hope to post some of this on the blog in a week or so but we are running right now. Cheers.
