Discovered in NGC 7331 last night Jan 5 by Lick @ m15.5 so pretty bright at outburst @ Bright SN - discovery pic.

My SN patrol pic of NGC 7331 field 2013 Dec 29 below shows nothing of SN ! :(

Clear at dusk tonight and got some brief shots I'll post shortly of the SN some against a blue sky :-)

Here's tonight's image taken soon after dusk - data on image. Amazingly even just 1sec exps clearly recorded this M15 SN with my setup :thewave:

Nytecam, based on your image I'd estimate SN 2014C at mag 15.4.
