I need a top rail (Vixen style dovetail bar) for my C9.25. I have ADM rings already for my two guide scopes, so I looked at ADM dovetail bars. They only have one listed for C9.25s, but I understand that the newer OTAs are shorter than mine (90s black tube). Does anyone know if the ADM bar will work on my older model C9.25?

You are correct with the two different lengths. I know you are looking for a vixen rail, but when I was looking for a top rail for my 9.25 (edge), Losmandy had two sizes with different hole spacings. One was 18.925 long with hole spacing of 17.25 and the other was 17.25 long with 16.5 spacing. My 9.25 edge took the 17.25 long with the 16.5 hole spacing. So you are correct, there are two different lengths and hole spacings. Not sure how that translates to Vixen rails.

Your ADM rings are probably for the mini dovetail system.
They won't fit a Vixen rail. You will need the MDS rail from ADM.

No, I bought Vixen style rings, because of how versatile they are.
