I would like to hook up with a club or group of individuals along the sw portion of Florida interested in doing a astro swap meet. From St.Pete to Naples, anybody out there with interest? I'm getting to have a lot of astro stuff and I'm sure there are others in the same situation. Perhaps we could do a meet with several different clubs. Let me know please............Michael

Winter Star Party also has had a swap meet. I assume it still goes on.

Time and circumstances wont allow me to go down to the WSP that's kinda why I'm hopeing to hook up with some in my more immeadiate area. The St Pete event is certainly a real possibility though. Thanks for the thought!

This will be my 5th year. If you don't intend to camp, you can get a one-day/night pass, but it's $25. The site isn't the best for observing, as it comes with the Tampa Bay and west coast areas light domes, and there are a lot of trees, but it's a friendly, somewhat informal gathering.

Rusty,
I spoke with Jack Fritz this morning and intend to set up a table at the swap meet (orange blossom party). Cant stay for observing but hope to meet a bunch of the guys and buy, sale or trade goodies. This event should do nicely but I'll keep looking for other possiblities as well.
