I am having a hard time getting my rc to focus with a 2.5x barlow. Any body out there use a dslr and this scope for planetary imaging?

DSLR? That would be hard to setup. You probably have very very far focus point. With a normal camera I had to use the extra ring between the OTA and the focuser. You have to check during day at which point DSLR would caught focus and how many spacers it needs.

Got two Moon pics when reviewing that telescope: http://deltasky.pl/w.../2012/07/m5.jpg and http://deltasky.pl/w.../2012/07/z3.jpg

It will focus with my T3I with the 2 inch spacer. However when I use the barlow it's a no go :(
