Tough to call without more information.
Try googling an image of our waxing crescent that shows a similar feature.
Or just try to catch it again next time around (Feb 3rd).

Peace,
Stephen

As I understand it, this dome business is actually in De La Rue, and can next be seen on Feb 2nd. I don't know anything about it, but I'm going on the word of someone who has seen it, and I'm going to try for myself.

Rick thanks.yes it is a dome of what looks like 5 lights in a round dome shape.I think that De La Rue is just a hair off ,to far east, from my drawing from my scope.from some charts that I have looked at that could be west. I think that Feb 3RD IS A 4day old moon. :roflmao:

Little quick shot I took about a week or so. I use a camera hand held against the eyepiece. Scope Stellarvue 70 ED, eyepiece Panoptic 24

You might want to consider downloading a version of the Virtual Moon Atlas freeware. The ephemeris will help you plan for things like this, not to mention the wealth of info the authors included in the software. ;)

I've not heard of the dome of lights (will look it up) and take some pictures 4 day moon next time. Here is one I took on the 6 day moon? I think it's 6 day, taken 3/7/14.

Taken with Panasonic FZ70 60X zoom, + extended zoom on tripod.
