A high density of observations for this asteroid over the next few days, would be a wonderful salute to the life of a man that did so much for amateur astronomy.
Our gear is still all in storage since we moved, but if it wasn't, I'd have both telescopes pointed in that direction tonite, and be making submissions to the folks at minor planet center, and anybody else collecting light curve and/or astrometric data on this object.
