Greetings,

Was wondering if I could get some help with my Gemini II. I am trying to join the Yahoo user group but keep getting an error.

I have had the system for a while. Had it working at one point using my laptop and The Sky X. Reloaded Windows 7 and I think it wiped my drivers.

So I tried using the new ASCOM mode on The SkyX but get error 206. Been rebooting - no luck. At this point I do not even know if I have the connect to the mount right.

In any case I know it is user error but I am stuck.

Any help on what's going on with the user group or any other suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
john

I'm not an expert, but in order to assist you it would be good if you could provide more information. how are you connecting to the mount? Serial, ethernet or USB?

For the record:

I have a GM8
Laptop running Windows 7
The Sky X Serious - updated yesterday

IN the past I used the Gemini Drivers and a USB connection - which seemed to work well.

When I reinstalled Windows & I believe it removed those drivers.

So I have tried the new ASCOM mode and some I line instructions but can not get past Error 206.

Went back to try the Gemini Mount selection but I have no drivers and am not sure where to get them.

yes,

That's much better with regards to USB. Here is what you need to do. This is where you get them: http://gemini-2.com/...usb_drivers.php

It's always good to give back to a community that gives so much. I'm saving up for an HPS1000 or DDM60 Pro then I'll make a t-shirt that says I used a G11 and all I got was this lousy t-shirt
