Interesting region which has a lot to offer: a big crater without central peak (Archimedes), a nice "blanket" around the crater rim of Aristillus, the landingsite of Luna 2 (first manmade object on another spaceobject), some subtile rilles south of Archimedes, Montes Archimedes on the terminator, a marsh (Palus), a bay (Sinus),... I hope you enjoy the scene too!

Jef, that is simply awesome! Seriously awesome. It's both inspiring to achieve that level of artistry and accuracy and depressing wondering if I can.

Beautiful, Jef. Your technique is extremely believable. I love the highlights and shadows in all of your pieces.

Thanks all for the nice comments. Yes I agree... I'm getting better in sketching the moon with pastels ;) But there's still a lot of progress possible!
