This evening I brought my 12 inch Dobsonian outside and prepared it with an eq platform. I thought the air would be steady enough for Jupiter, but it wasn't.
Later on evening I observed the nearly full monn. I decided to sketch this crater trio near the edge. I could only use 112x.

Uwe,

This is a most spectacular region to sketch in this light.
Look how the lava fills Wargenthin. Very impressive.

Special Congratulations on this one.

Uwe,
This is a splendid sketch I really like the way you caught the shadows. Great work.

Dear Pete,

after buying an 8 cm Apo-Triplett I use the Mak rarely. But that must not be the case forever.
