Picked up a set of kit and this mount came with it.

It seems a bit beefier than the Meade alt-az mounts I've seen in the past.

Anyone know the specs on it?

This looks similar, but is a fairly solid looking mount. Has a full autostar controller.

Tripod looks like a standard field tripod.

Looks like an early version of the DS mount as configured for solar use (the 90 degree bracket). Looks like an older ETX tripod.

So - the mount head is configured as a Coronado DSM DS-2000, but this one has a full Autostar controller.

THe mount is way beefier than what I've seen on other DS-2000s, It has 2" legs...

The DS-2000 mount had a redesign mid life . Your mount head is a generation II DS-2000 . They came with 497 Autostar .

The tripod looks like a CG-5 unit. None of the tripods sold under the DS2K are useful for much. The angled bracket was sold with the Coronado and DSX90, 102 and 125 Mak models. This is the 2nd gen DS2K. There is a later model with a better Alt axle design.

These mounst have a very high mechanical failure rate. Mainly you'll find broken Az motor cages and snapped Alt axles. My collection has more bad Az drives than Alt axles, but a dozen or so doesn't make a valid statistical sample

This one came in for repair with both defects :foreheadslap:

Blue ra band around base/gen11 was decent but black ra band was *BLEEP*
with the upgraded tipod it is a decent short tube set up.
