Time is running short, maybe the candidates could have some next target in mind and once we had the winner, we know which one to go for April, thanks.

Mike had a very substantial lead before the software rollback. No objection from me to declaring him the winner and have him select the April target.

Oh really? Even I missed that... that new software has no place to set an end voting time, so ...

If I should prevail, I suggest we make the April target NGC 2903 - a spiral galaxy in western Leo. It's perfectly placed to begin a long imaging run at the end of astronomical twilight throughout April. It also stays with my notion to make the challenge object something a bit off the well beaten path. It's a perfect target for many of the medium or longer focal length imagers in this forum - 13' x 6' in size and 10th magnitude with some really nice spiral structure.

NGC 2903 will be our April target, thanks.
