I'm going to try sketching a lunar eclipse sequence the night of April 14th. I tried doing it during the August 28, 2007 eclipse, and came away with a ingress sequence that Erika Rix was able to animate (thanks Erika!).

Are you going to try sketching the eclipse (assuming clear skies)?

Rich,

I am going to try and sketch the lunar eclipse the night of April 14th but I'm not going to tell that to anyone.

Why? Because whenever I plan a sketch someone (I don't know who) sends really bad weather and clouds. :cloudy: !@#$%

So just forget what I just wrote.
Thank you. :sleepy:

Frank :)

Last evening I got my gear together to for sketching the lunar eclipse tonight and into tomorrow morning. I'm going to use my TV Pronto and a TV 8mm-24mm zoom . I found that the 12mm setting gives just the right sized field. Weather forecasts indicate good conditions here in Jacumba. Wishing all of you interested in sketching this event clear and steady skies!
