Yesterday we had quite good seeing here in Germany. I observed Mars with my 6 inch Mak at 225x with the help of a neodymium filter. There was much to see:
- The remaining of the NPC is very small
- Syrtis maior was the darkest structure, but it's ouline was not as clear as in Mars maps
- Chryse was bright, but Hellas was very bright and blueish. May be there were orographic clouds.

I dont' know in which condition I was writing February instead of Apri. The sketch is from the day before yesterday.

Uwe,

A very nice capture of Mars.
I need to get in some Mars observing before we pull to far away.

Frank :)
