Hey all,

I am researching 35mm astrophotography lately, and after reading quite a few blogs and forums I have realized that all the film they talk about, such as Fuji Provia 400 F or Kodak Ektachrome E200, has been discontinued. I was wondering which currently available film you have been using?

Clear Skies,

Michael

Fuji Acros 100 best for black and white, Kodak Gold 200, Fuji C200 and Fuji 1600 are my preferences. Kodak Gold 200 and Fuji C200 are very cheap and can be found everywhere. Fuji 1600 is expensive. If you decide to use black and white be prepared to develop it yourself.

Michael, look on the results of Nightfly's tests here and here. And here is a link to the Giorgos's tests of Fuji 1600.
