Hi,

This galaxy really needs small exit pupils to get all the detail in the small telescopes. I think I used down to 4mm to observe the dark lane.

NGC 4562 is more than faint with this aperture, and magnification didn't help.

Manuel,
This is still a beautiful sketch!
It is MUCH more detailed than i could ever hope to see even with my 12inch telescope in the polluted skies here in Los Angeles.

Great view. I don't believe I've ever noticed NGC 4562 in the field; it was missed by Herschel and only discovered in 1882, by Tempel (with an 11" Amici achromat).
