Looks like the Cloudy Nights train is on track and moving down the road!

Yup. Seems like its coming (back) to life.  Also seems like most of the things I liked about the old site have been carried over too.

I really appreciate all the work to build CN for the future.

BTW:  Nice GP35 - maybe ought to get Canadian National to paint up a Cloudy Nights commerative locomotive!

Look and feel is good. I was concerned when I logged on a couple of days ago with speed; but that has been fixed. Congrats to the re-build team. :waytogo:

This is such a huge improvement over CN 2.0, feels like a real step forward from the original site too. speed is still a bit of an issue, but I suspect that will resolve itself once everything is transferred over and things get back to normal.

I like it! Great job!

I like this better than cloudynights 2.0, if not as well as the original. That's probably because I just need to get used to it and things still need a tad of tweaking. I do miss the total number of posts in the name bar; when I first joined in 2007, there was somewhere over 2 million posts and now it's well over 6 million. I've always liked following that and now it seems to be missing.

This does have a much better feel than the hoopla version. It's not as good as the original,  but it's still good. I hated version 2.

Thanks to all who have worked so hard to update the site and get it working again so quickly!  I love and will continue to read and contribute to Cloudy Nights.

John.

I hope this version works better for CN administrators as well and thank you CN for all the time and hard work required to bring us this great site.

I was OK with the Hoopla version and the original also but this change has been a very easy one for me to deal with and I like it.
