I am just getting started with Orion's autoguider with an ST80 on my LX200.  Don't expect it to work immediately.  I am using PHD2 and there is some tuning involved.  While this bothered me at first, after thinking about it I realized that no unit could have defaults that would work in all cases.  Will it work on your LXD75 I do not know but I also see no reason it would not.  Once I understand how things work together better I will start a thread about it.

You will need an ST-4 compatible autoguider port, or autoguide over the serial connection with the right software.

Meade made the APM-909 module but it has been discontinued.  You can get a third-party APM-909 compatible module from Astro-Gene.

That looks like it will work.  You might have to do a firmware update on your hand controller.

The original APM-909 module also had a focus controller output and an illuminated reticule output.
