Hi all,

Here are Saturn images from August 5. Saturn's elevation was 35 degrees.

nice, you can even see the hex in the mono right image.

Apropos John's comments above, it seems the contrast between the NPZ's hexagon and the surrounding region isn't as strong as last year for the rgb images and thus the hex doesn't stand out so clearly.....of course our own atmospheric conditions may well be playing a very significant role therein with the image outcomes but it's something I've noticed in most AA images this apparition... :confused:

 

We imaged Saturn with moderate success on the 5th, 6th & 7th August & might post something in the next few days (blimey, unbelievable given the last 2 month's weather here!!!)
