Hi,

Now that Jupiter is making its reappearance, I thought I would repost the drawing template I use. I hope you find it to be a helpful shortcut.

There are some lightly shaded areas like the NEB and SEB, (approximated positions), to speed up your sketching. Feel free to print it out.

BTW, how much more oblate is Jupiter compared to Saturn?

Since I don't have printer I use 64x68mm ellipse made vith trammel.

Is that the plastic ellipse template you can buy at Art supply retailers?

My two closest oval templates—70 and 75 degrees—are both a tad off the ideal. Best to print Sol's and trace it onto other stock if needed.
