Quote:Based on some of the recommendations here, I'm looking around at Pelican cases online. I see that they come empty, or with pick-n-pluck (PNP) foam. Is the PNP foam high enough density to hold a heavy item like a mount head securely?-Dan

For my 8SE and my CG-5 I have JMI cases. For My CGEM and EPs I have 2 #1600 Pelican cases. For my tripods I use Some On Stage Stands SSB6500 microphone bags. Every thing else has it's own case. When It come time to move things around i have a hand truck for smooth ground and just have to hand carry for rough ground.
