Quote:I got an email from ES regarding the 24mm 68*:" Greg,Unfortunately, it will be at least 60-90 days before we get some more in. I really wish we had them sooner, but they've been so popular that demand has been hard to keep up with. As soon as they come in, they will go through QC and be shipped to vendors within the week they arrive.Marty DeBriyn"2-3 months...Getting really tired...

Quote:I don't know how bad the supply issue really is. I've followed the "in stock" "out of stock" status of the ES eyepieces throughout the sale the last 6 months and other than the 24mm ES68 every eyepiece has come into stock at some point at some vendors. The next hardest to find seems to be the 4.7mm ES82. I'm not sure why there is such a long delay on the 24mm ES68. I'm sure BillP's excellent review has helped to generate a lot of the demand. Dave

Quote:A while back a lady walked into our family's butcher shop and asked how much for a whole N.Y. Strip loin cut into steaks. I told her they were $5.99 lb. and really nice. She said she could get it down the street for $4.99 lb. When I told her she better go down the street because that was a very good price she replied that they were all out. I told her that's nothing, when we are out they are only $3.99 lb.
