If you are open to suggestions, try for M27. Use plenty of magnification. It's well-positioned in the sky at this time of year and you can actually see it in the finderscope. Coupling the finderscope with your Telrad, you should be able to ease right on to it. Try to interpret some of the detail that you will see. Clear skies.
