One of the plastic gears in the DEC drive gave out. Does anybody know where or how to get replacement gears? This was an easy access, no major issues getting to the gear assembly and the single individual gear. In fact, no issues at all, pretty simple. I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to send it off just to get this gear done, nor do I need to have it copmletely gone through at a big expense.
I'd like to find a metal gear or even gear 'kit' would be OK. I can get pictures and detailed information and description posted here if needed. Otherwise, I'd like to just deal directly with a supplier, one time around, and get the goods. EDIT: I took a picture to send to Dr. Clay, so I've attached it here as well. The two gears circled are mated and each has a matching bad spot. The actual bad teeth are at the arrows
Thanks for any help,

Quote:You may be able to find a mount with dead electronics for parts. Place an ad in the Wanted section of the Classifieds. You may be able to rebuild the plastic gears with industrial Epoxy, then file them to fit.
