"Life is too short to miss the beauty of heavens."
One question, do you understand why it is called Reiseatlas (=travel atlas)?

“I am the only person to ever ace a 1951 USAF resolution test. My 'to observe' list says 'done'. I do not use charts or atlases when I starhop; men do not use maps. One of my sketches won an SBIG deep sky imaging contest. I am the life of star parties I have never attended. I never say anything looks like a faint fuzzy - not even a faint fuzzy. Pilots aim green laser pointers at me. Don Pensack proofreads my CN forum posts.” - The Most Interesting Astronomer in the Universe

Quote:I wonder why when I put one copy of the atlas in my cart at the website, "2" is displayed for Quantity instead of "1"? When I try to modify the Quantity to "1", the total price with shipping of 63.10 Euros does not change. This doesn't make sense to me.Mike
Quote:Also, how do I actually place the order? When I'm at the screen which displays the contents of my cart, and I can modify the quantity, how do I go on from there? I don't see any obvious "Continue" button.
Quote:On the Bestellung page of the website, under Land, there is no listing for Vereinigte Staaten, nor does it allow me to enter any country besides the European countries listed. Not very user friendly. They may have lost a customer. Mike

1. I was never asked to give a credit card number or anything like that, nor do I easily find a bank account number anywhere. Will the book just eventually arrive with an invoice attached, or will they instruct me further about payment before it actually ships?
2. They mention that the delivery cost to abroad (anything that is not Germany), will be at true cost, but the there is no delivery cost value given on the confirmation, only "delivery to Finland"), so I guess it will be a surprise. I expext they will use Deutsche Post, so I'm not expecting anything radically expensive, but it would still be nice to know beforehand.
Quote:How much is that in US currency?
Quote:If these books were available in English, i would order . . . . :-)I "learned" Germen in high school but that was in the last century and a very long time ago.
