Quote:Took me about a week of countless deliberation in my head and poking around CN, calls to Orion etc.. before I made my choice. I figured it would be a bit more hassel to pull out the 16 than the 14. The height was also a deciding factor. I'm 5'10" and I might still need a step ladder. Good luck in your choice. either one will be a great scope.

Quote:Hi All, I'm the OP and just wanted to say my ship date got move back to Feb 8th. I'm hoping to get it on the 15th so I can have some time to set it up in the house. I don't know if I'll get to first light because I work a week out of town at a time. If I get it on Friday the 15th I will try to get it to the yard at least. Of course the moon is going to be a problem my next week off the the 19-26 of Feb. I will also be working the week of the Messier Marathon. Hopefully I can get most of them in around the 14th. I will keep you all posted.
