You're welcome, Doug76. I'm glad you're enjoying it. It seems the mount is getting to see quite a bit of the country, too. I agree the SE mount should be available separately just as Celestron sells stand alone OTAs. Nothing wrong with mixing and matching.

But I am donating that rig to a good friend and his son, and I am going to replace the scope with an AT80EDT in the original white/gunmetal aluminum body version which Astronomics says they will be offering again in a few weeks. I want the smaller SE mount for that. I think it will be a perfect combo.
