If you think the road to Table is steep and narrow you wouldn't like Slate Peak.. Table mountain is reminiscent of Interstate 5 in comparison

Quote:Wintergrass was a blast, with but one disappointment. I really like the new venue, at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue. The one disappointment was that Peter Rowan appeared simply as the guitar player in someone else's straight bluegrass band, instead of fronting his own band and playing his music; but that's a pretty small nit on a great afternoon & evening.
Quote:And I forgot to mention: Costco-Tacoma has the good antigravity loungers in stock for, I'm pretty sure, $37. That's really a good price; I thought I was getting a steal when I bought mine there for $50.
Quote:The weather forecast remains positive. I proposed to Anne and to Maggie that we go over early Saturday in two cars. We could hike up the Umptanum Creek trail for a couple of miles then return. They could go home in Anne's car while I set up for astronomy.
