The name for mine came from where it sits - Corydon Ridge.
It sounded kind of professional, so I stuck with it.

We call the one on the left "the roll-off" and the one on the right "the dome". Pretty creative no?

My recently dismantled "Observalavatory" named for obvious reasons. I'm in the process of moving to a darker site, and semi-retired the roll-off shed to house gas cans and such.
My wife and I purchased a late 1890's schoolhouse, so the new observatory when built will be called "Spring Hill School Observatory" after the school's original name.

This is the "Observalavatory" logo I created and Steve Durham from this group embroidered the logo on my Star Party shirt along with a few other goodies on the front.
The logo for the new "Spring Hill School Observatory" will be similar with a school bell-tower at the peak.

I'd place a small wager that if you were to send that shirt to me, along with the new design, I could embroider "RETIRED" or "CLOSED" across OBSERVALAVATORY and add the new design below it.

Nawwww, I don't think so. I know you can do it, but I love the shirt as it is. Although....in two years you can embroider the word "Retired" under my name on the front.

The "Observalavatory" always contained some form of gas. I don't have the heart to retire it permanently...too many good memories. It's set up only a few feet from where the new one will go. Kinda like memorablia. Here's a shot of the front door of the new place:

I decided to call it AJP Observatory, using the first letters of my wife's name, mine, and our last name. It's kind of non-offensive, just the way I wanted it...
Thanks for all the suggestions.
By the way, check out my sig line: My very own Clear Sky Clock!
