Uses same 6 megapixel chip as Nikon D-50. Has a two stage TEC cooling to -45 C below ambient. Chip size is approx. 23mm by 16mm. Uses USB 2.0 download in less than 6 sec. Has plugin for MaximDL and own proprietary software. This is essentially the same camera as the Starlight Express SXV-25C, only sells for less than $1500. I have attached a H-alpha shot six 600 sec. images. NO darks and NO flats. I love this camera ....and what a value for the money..... This was 4 600 second exposures with no darks and no flats. Seeing was avg. Taken through Tak Epsilon 130 F 3.3. This camera is 7.8um x 7.8um cell size.
