Just to let everyone know that Alan Chu has updated his Photographic Moon Book as of this month (Ver3.1) and is available for free download. There are dozens of new, higher quality, annotated images and it is now at 225pages length. It's definitely the best observer's guide to the Moon i have had the pleasure to use. It's well worth printing out for scopeside use IMO.
In cooperation with Alan, I set up a North American mirror for downloading this very useful eBook. It is located here: Moon Book No. Amer. Mirror The download speeds should be better, especially at off peak hours, for users in the US etc.

The Photographic Moonbook by Alan Chu of Hong Kong has been revised for 2008. The latest revision, V.3.2, is available for download at:
North American Mirror Alan Chu's website
If you have not already done so, do take the time to download a copy and have a look. I think you will find the Moonbook to be the best observer's guide to the Moon in print, online or otherwise--and as always, it's free!
