Yes in fact Tom's (Pegster) Mom got to view the Mercury transit through my PST and mine just peeked through it the other day while I was unpacking from MSHSPIV - it's mother approved

So...is September 15th still the plan, pending Forest Service permission? I'm seriously thinking about coming up for that and would probably want to get plane reservations soon while airfare is reasonably cheap...

That is how I understand it... You're gonna miss RSP @ GOMOC, and it looks to be as if it's gonna be great.
My father will be the guest of honor. He will be donating a 4" telephoto lens with iris control, and........(hehehe)... these....
Hope you have a safe flight, and it will be fun to finally meet you...

Yes, I think we all agreed on the 15th.
Besides, we can't change it now that Steph is coming!

But, I don't get it . . . didn't you decide to come up here because it'll still be raining in Texas in September?

Not really griping I know about choices and I will make one in September. Just with so few weekends here in the NW I like to have as many excuses as possible to get out. I say we go for a 2 night party in september. Friday and Saturday!!!!

I'd love to attend OSP again this year, Steve. It's sooooo dark down there. I'm just not sure that my workload will allow it. I may have to console myself with a trip down to Bend and SunRiver in October.
