Hi Jim and all,

I'm putting this date down on the calender to start planning for it now. I wanted to come last year but couldn't make it. It should be fun!

Patrick,
We had a ball, and the sponsors couldn't have been more gratious. Looking forward to seeing you there along with the rest of the gang.

Bump,

We'll be contacting them soon for registration. Hope to see quite a few of you there this year. Here is a pic of the five of us from CN who attended last year.

Scott Horstman, John Crilly, Jim Winters, Erika and Paul Rix

Our hosts were terrific!

Scott,
Visit the following, SkyTour , you'll have to print out the registration form and mail it in. They haven't set up for online registration. That is all there is to it.

Talked to Erika this morning, they are still going, as are John Crilly and Scott Horstman. It will be a lot of fun.

Alright!! I just posted a query in the mount forum so I can get the ball rolling on equipment. Now I just need to think about entertainment for the kids. Or maybe I'll just load them up on Sudafed and let them sleep through the weekend

Just kiddin' of course

There should be something for everyone, you can always send the kids to the NASA bus. There will be plenty of scopes around. Erika will have two, paul will have his, I'm bringing two, perhaps three.

I've never traveled with a scope, so I figured I'd bring the ST80 just to try it out. I can't believe the trip is only 2 months from now!

Yep, we're going for sure, Scott. I'll have the ETX70, PST, and one or two dobs. Paul will have the LX200. Plenty of scopes to go around and I'm sure we can find stuff for the kids if they get bored. I can bring some sketching stuff and maybe find a game or two for them. Pity I won't be bringing Riser. The kids could have kept him entertained!

They don't bore easily, so don't worry about keeping them occupied. I'm sure they'll enjoy just being in the outdoors.

Sounds great, Zach. We can set up an arsenal of ST80's.

Well looks like the scopes may out number the participants. I'll be bringing a C8, etx70, and maybe a DOB.
