Very good Jason! And please do bring your guitar. It would be really nice to hear the musical talent of our group play together.

Erika, Are you bringing your violin?

I didn't figure I needed to remind him to bring the Obsession. thought that would be a no brainer.

I will talk with my wife this afternoon... You mentioned swimming in one of your posts. You guys have a pond nearby?

It is looking likely I will be there... the weather is shaping up nice.. and I really need to get outta town!! I may also bring along my 90mm refractor to be a part of the refractor club

Also, a fellow club member is interested in coming.. maybe with his wife and kids (I told him he better get signed up to CN). Would this be ok?

Now to convince the wife to come along (I will probably still come even if she decides to stay home).

Jason, we have a pool and a pond. We're working on the pool now. Okay, I'm not cuz I'm sitting here at my computer, but my darling other half is. I haven't been swimming in the pond...too many fishies in there.

And just let us know if your friend is coming. I'm just trying to keep track of the head count.

There are no tools (beyond an Allen wrench or screwdriver) that are of any use in collimating an SCT. All that is needed will be available at BEOTS - if there's sky.

Yep.. I remembered when I collimated my SCT that it takes a very small turn to make a change.. My collimator is used for my dobs. I thought Kendrick had an SCT collimator though.

Doesn't work. It relies on unwarranted presumptions about mirror placement/alignment.
