I knew there would be disappointment about the Rat Fritters, so I'll try to do up some Toad Tournedos in advance...they keep fairly well, where the Rat Fritters really have to be fresh to keep the delicate palette of flavors...

We'll do what we can...Casey is on the "case" (as it were), localizing toads...one might say, "Toads is His Life....".
I think I can feed 30-40 people Toad Tournedos....unless I get hungry and consume a few myself...yum!

Hmmm... I'll try to take that in the best possible way.
I hope it does turn off to be an ideal night out there. Too bad it couldn't have been postponed to the following weekend... new moon that Saturday & I'll be in Metairie most of that weekend. I hope that doesn't mean ya'll have all used up your quota of good luck. (You know, Bill used his up in his recent wreck.) There had better be some pictures posted the week after.

We have a big Folklife Festival up here in Monroe every Fall. A couple of years ago we had the Neville Brothers for the headliner. You should check into it.

BAD NEWS GUYS !!!!!

WITHAI IS CANCELLED FOR NOW - I WILL RESCHEDULE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Just talked to my Mother a few minutes ago. Three reasons for the cancellation:
1) The ground is supersaturated from the recent (and continuous) rains - think sinking telescopes...
2) Even when the Weather Channel has predicted clear skies, they have had T-Storms every DAY and NIGHT.
3) Parents just got called out of town for Saturday night.
I am really sorry, and I am more crushed than any of you. I have all of my telescopes set up in my living room, checking to make sure everything is perfect - called MOM and everything went down the tubes. SORRY GUYS.
I will reschedule for a New Moon time in the near future...
WITHAI is not dead - just a little late in arrival. My appologies to all of you.

I'm looking forward to it whenever it is!
The armadillo and possum populations, however, are grateful for the respite....

Plenty of new moons in the future to have one! It gives me plenty of time to prepare for the next one.
