Attached is the latest instalment in my ongoing pursuit of ever fainter deep space objects with the ETX 70 /Atik 1C combo- my take on the galaxy Centaurus A, imaged on June 8 from my suburban -light polluted-backyard location.

About 100 frames -mix of 10 and 15 second exposures. Best frames selected, stacked in k3ccd and processed in photoshop. Noise removal with NEAT.

AKA "Cheeseburger In Space"? Nice image. I'm amazed by what you're able to do with the ETX70. Keep the pics coming!

....(cheese burger) :-) I have an etx comming sometime next week. I am amazed at how well this little scope works. Wonderful pics seeker, did you have to do any adjusting to your gears or autostar?

Nope. ETX out of the box in alt azimuth mode. Align, remove the eyepiece and replace with the webcam, focus, and away you go..
