Just wondering if anyone has used a Bino on an ETX ? And how well the scopes performed.

I use a bino (Denk 2) on an Orion 127 for lunar and planetary and it's pretty good. I upgraded to a 2" adaptor which is much more secure than the 1¼" adaptor.

Hi Alex DJ,
I see you have a C6 and an ETX - have you posted a comparison of the two?

I have an ETX90.........and a pair of Stellavue binos.......yes you can use them but the scope will be WAY OFF balance....and would put undo strain on the small motors and gears inside the ETX.

Well the difference is not so way apart...the Mak have more contrast and sharp while the C6 gathers more light....so i think both images are almost the same.. to my eyes...looks almost exctatly the same..i didnt puerchase the C6 to rival my ETX 125.. my ETX 125 is for the quick views when i dont want to do any AP, because i know the inherent problems of the 125 (Long focal lenght, traking not so good for long DSO shots, problems to connect stuff on the backport when you are 90ª or more)...The ASGT- C6 on the other hand fills that gap great (AP)...but yes i used too for viewing ...but i think both are almost the same..same views...

I have the WO binoviewer and use it frequently with my ETX125. A counterweight is not required for the WO (it's not the heaviest BV out there) as the ETX is a bit front-heavy anyway.
Lunar views are spectacular with it.

Who or what is a WO Bino viewer, can you expand on this descriptor ?
