I have used both the the cheap home depot inclinometer and the wixey. The inclinometer works just fine if you have young eyes it is just as accurate as the wixey. But for us old folks the wixey is far easier to read.

I got my Wixey in the mail a few weeks ago and it seems to work just fine for me. I like it.
