Thinking about a new computer.Will my canon 12.1 solution disk or zoom browser software that you get with the Rebel XT work with Vista.THANKS BOB

I use my Canon RebelXT with Vista, including EOS Utilities for camera control and Zoombrowser - no problems at all.

So do I Bob, but I had to get drivers online when I connected all my AP software.

The software works with Vista... What don't (Until canon makes the drivers) is the software that connects to the camera. Like the one for downloading images...

Jeff, I have no trouble connecting my XT directly to my laptop with Vista. Using the Canon software for camera control and dirctly downloading the image to my computer.

Just looked at the Canon site. They now have the Vista compatible drivers. Originally, it was as I stated...
