Kerry, thanks for scouting the place out...I guess we need to focus on a place to the east of the Cascades.

I'm confident that the added feature of the poker game will prevent a rain-out from damping our festivities!

I don't get it . . . what did you find, Tom?
I hereby publicly proclaim the availability of my property for all things astronomical.
Like I've said before though, I'd feel better about planning a trip around the place if someone else could take a look at it, for a seal of approval. I know, I know, I just need to let guys know when I'm going down there.

Does this mean I need to remember to bring my penny jar with me?

I usually play nickels, dimes & quarters - no pennies. But I'm open to suggestions.

It's definitely time for another star party...the sooner the better.
Hey Mike, I'm interested in checking out your property when you go there (weather permitting). Have you decided on dates yet?

I haven't picked a date, Dave. Unless something comes up that makes a trip necessary I doubt if I'll go in the next month. But then, I could always sack out in the truck, and the moon is on the wane, hmmmmm. But, you know, if anyone wants to go I'd be happy to give directions. You're all welcome to use the property.

Yes you will......
Hey...I built a mount for my 4" Schmidt, so I could mount it on the 6". I built adapters so I could use it as a video only scope. I had to machine adapters to fit a strait through EP projection ring to the schmidt and an EP holder to that. Then I machines a nice hefty bracket to mount it to a slide rail system that I mounted by way of new tube rings. Painted it all dark textured hunter green to match. Looks pretty good.
I am now making some internal fittings for the counter arm for my white scope. I'm making some changes to its attachment design.
So I can have live viewing, DSLR imaging, and now video too.
