We chipped in that much for the Sani-Can before. And if you show up for the work party they wave the fee. Heck, I'll spend 4 times that on gas just to get there.

I don't think you need to register to attend but they would appreciate it if you're volunteering for the work party.

The MSH Institute website gives July 23rd as the cutoff date for registration. Are you saying we don't need to register? But it was pointed out that we need to pay the $15, how to do that without registering?

Brad..I believe you are confusing the two subjects.
The $15 is for MSHSP porta-potty. That has been roughly the price every year. The MSH forestry think Tom is talking about doesn't require registration if you want to come and help.
Of course I could be totaly wrong and you...right.
I play by the rules too....most times though, I don't even know what they are...

OK, I'm confused. In other words, I don't understand. To put it differently, nothing new.
1) Do we have to register in advance to attend the star party?
2) Can we just pay the $15 at the "door?"
All light would be gratefully accepted.
P.S., I'm going, if I can navigate the labyrinth.

I just sent an email to the director of the MSH Institute. Hopefully I'll have some answers tomorrow.

Tom,
You posted the links on page 6 of this thread. There was discussion and I thought agreement that MSHSP7 would be combined with the MSH Institute star party on the 2nd. That link to MSH Institute gives the cutoff date.
Registration is through some 2nd party outfit called Active.com.
Let us know what you find.

OK, here's the scoop.
Everyone needs to pre-register on their field seminar registration site. Link Camping is available at Coldwater. You'll need to bring your own camping equipment, supplies and food same as before. Campfires are not allowed but a BBQ is OK. They may have to limit the number of people but they're waiting to see how many sign up so sign up early!

Thanks for chasing that down, Tom. I'm now registered, rain or shine.
11 days until registration closes.
